I am delighted to welcome you to the School of Business, Economics, and Humanities (SBEH) at Mama Ngina University College (MNUC), the largest School in the University College and a vibrant centre of academic excellence, innovation, research, and professional development. Our School brings together the disciplines of Business, Economics, and Humanities courses, creating a dynamic multidisciplinary ground that equips students with the knowledge, skills, values, and competencies required to thrive in a rapidly changing national, regional, and global environment. As the largest School at MNUC, we play a significant role in advancing the University’s mission of providing quality, relevant, and transformative higher education.

At SBEH, we are committed to providing quality academic programmes that combine rigorous theoretical foundations with practical and industry-focused learning. Our programmes are designed to develop analytical thinking, entrepreneurial capacity, ethical leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving skills that respond to the needs of the labor market and society. The school is supported by a growing community of dedicated and accomplished faculty who are committed to excellence in teaching, mentorship, research, and community engagement. The school is highly involved in Research, Innovation and Knowledge Creation which are central to the school’s mandate. We encourage faculty and students to undertake research that responds to contemporary economic, business, social, cultural, and development challenges facing Kenya and the wider world. Our research agenda encompasses areas such as economic development, public finance, entrepreneurship, accounting and finance, business management, marketing, human resource management, governance, public policy, sustainable development, and the humanities. We continue to strengthen research collaboration, publications, consultancy, innovation, and knowledge transfer through partnerships with government, industry, professional bodies, communities, and other academic institutions. In addition, SBEH is committed to building strong partnerships with industry, government agencies, professional bodies, development organizations, research institutions, and communities. These partnerships provide opportunities for internships, professional development, joint research, consultancy, capacity building, experiential learning, and knowledge exchange. The school is particularly committed to strengthening linkages with professional and industry bodies to ensure that our academic programmes remain relevant to contemporary professional practice and emerging labor-market demands.
